Swim Lessons

"Swim lessons are when the life guards come down from their chairs and help you."

That's what Jack had to say about his lessons.

When asked what he'd wish for if he had three wishes, another swim lesson was at the top of his list.

 After watching his brothers, last year, he was ready.

 We've learned you have to be quick with instructions for Jack
 because he'd prefer to be underwater (as seen below).

Next year, it'll be your turn, Will.

He's trying to prove his readiness.

This Mothers' Day

Apparently, Will was afraid his dad wasn't getting enough of the limelight.

What could be more fun than helping him pedal his bike?  Right?

 Each time his feet go around, Will announces, "I did it!"

Having an attentive dad as a partner is definitely one of the best gifts, this Mothers' Day.

It's a pretty good gift for his mom and mother-in-law, too.

We're all pretty proud.

While the kids are counting down their days until summer break,

I'm enjoying my last few quiet naptimes, alone.

During which, I found this in the sun room.

Charlie did this right before he left for school.

I was curious what the pigeon was thinking and saw some writing on the back.

 It has a heart and the uniquely spelled word, louv, with all our names.

Mothers Day just came a couple days early!
