The Reaction

Mike and I both couldn't wait for this moment.  We couldn't wait to see the reaction on R & C's faces when we told them about the surprise we had in store for them.  We secretly packed their bags.  We even took them part way to the airport, when we told them they'd be flying out to see their favorite aunt and camping for a week at Yellowstone.

 Quite a bit of disbelief at first, from Charlie.

 But lots of smiles, for sure!

They should be on their way, as I type!

Day at the Zoo

A slight break in the heat made us think it'd be a fun day to visit the animals.

 Will had mixed feelings about the goats.

 No mixed reactions from the others.

The goats appeared to think that Rob and Charlie were old friends.

 Maybe it wasn't as cool as we had hoped, huh Will?

 No amount of heat would have ruined this train ride for Jack.

Water Day 2012

Our church puts on Water Day, once every summer.

 Rob thought he might be too old before arriving.

 Getting to the top of the slide is quite a feat for Will's little body.
