Isaac (our backyard neighbor) said - Will, get in the hole. I'm going to hit the ball.

More Isaac talk - I missed.

 More Isaac - Throw it out.  I'm going to hit it, again.

 Earlier today, Isaac's mom said - I hope he doesn't become one of those kids who's afraid to get dirty.

 Isaac - I see it.  It's right there.

 Jack was very excited to join in the game.

 It's definitely going to be a fun summer!

The Celebration Has Begun!

Today started with Jack asking, "I'm 5, now?!"

Interestingly, by 10:30am, he was already looking forward to 6.

And every time, he mentions his new number, he asks if I'm 65.

Overcoming His Fear

Since coming home, Will has been terrified of the swings.  I figured that after watching his brothers, he'd want to do it too.  I was wrong.  So, just like ice cream, whenever we are somewhere with swings, I force him to give it a try.  Just a couple small pushes, to prove it is fun and safe.  He hates it.  Sunday, I finally thought to sit him on my lap while swinging.  He seemed to enjoy it, for a little while.  Tonight, I looked out back and saw this.  Will had convinced Rob to give him a ride.

Uh, yeah, that's definitely safer, Will.

Comfortable, boys?

I guess so.

Before long, you'll be swinging high like Jack!

Eyes

Will calls glasses, "Eyes!"

The butter box earned me about an hour of baking time and lots of smiles.

Will's great at cutting strips of cardboard into little pieces.

This kid can make anything fun!
