Small Town Fun

Our little town has no water parks and few attractions. However, one day every summer, our town would make the grade for best places to visit. Just ask Nicholas, RC&J's cousin, who chose today to come visit.

Four-Year-Old Table Talk

Tonight, Charlie asked, "Mom, who is the best: Jesus, God, or Abraham Lincoln?"

Today's Picking

Thought I'd share pictures of what the Gentle men will be eating...

The veges look a lot better on the counter than in our weed infested garden!

Rob's snake beans, purple beans, and wax beans

our one and only tomato, summer squash, and cucumbers

Lastly, I thought I'd share my radically shorter hair cut.
Rob took this picture before I picked the vegetables.
You really do not want to see my hair now!

Just Being Silly

July 4th Parade

Our town has an annual Independence Day parade.

Jack posing with Rob and Charlie on the baseball float.

It wasn't until we headed two blocks south to watch the parade return that Jack finally understood the candy pick-up thing. The firetrucks were definitely his favorite part!

Baseball

Wondering what the Gentles have been up to? Baseball! I love our ball diamond. It's like the field of dreams. Between innings, you can watch the corn grow. Here are some pictures from last night's game...
Nice form, Charlie!
Good hit Rob!

See those little tiny outfielders? They're going after Rob's hit!

Good game, guys! And yes, that is our Charlie, still wearing his helmet.

Jack was in my arms for most of the pictures, so I grabbed some from a previous game.

Jack likes to yell, "Yeah Rob!"
